CHINA -- /DESIGN/newswire -- Aug 17, 2020

Diyun Space Design unveils Zhongjian Xinli, a sales office in Tianjin, China, blending modern functionality with traditional Chinese courtyard culture.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Natural and Simple: The Essence of Zhongjian Xinli

Diyun Space Design presents Zhongjian Xinli, a 695 square meter sales office in Tianjin, China, completed in April 2020. The design draws inspiration from Chinese tradition and courtyard culture, creating a space theme of "Terminal Memory" through the integration of modern life demands with local nature and culture.

The project's unique properties lie in its natural and simple style, with a predominant use of natural wood and an emphasis on integrating external nature into the space through the expressive force of light, creating an atmosphere of returning to nature.

The design realization technology includes the use of light to integrate external nature into the space, and the project features a reception area, sand table area, negotiation area, and tea table area.

The project started in October 2019 and was completed in August 2020 in Tianjin. The design team includes Ruimin Mu and Lili Wang.

Challenges in the design process were overcome by breaking traditional practices and creating a focus on the reception desk with special-shaped stones and the welcome pine flower device, enhancing the overall sense of rhythm and creating a strong artistic atmosphere.

Copyrights for the design belong to Daqi Zhang, 2020.
