Urban Elysees: Redefining Home Wine Cabinets and Modern Interior Design

Urban Elysees, a residential house project designed by Yu Shan Liu, redefines the concept of home wine cabinets by transforming ordinary cabinets into elegant showcases for wine collections. Located in Taipei city, this 2,064 square feet space exudes modern luxury and comfort, featuring wire brushed wood, elegant marbles, and iron accent pieces to create a calm and spacious ambiance.

The project, completed in February 2021, integrates the surrounding prosperous area into its design, symbolizing the city's abundance and advanced features. The unique design also includes a custom chandelier in the dining room, symbolizing "One Family One Heart," and a spacious balcony on the 15th floor, offering a serene rest area with street views.

Yu Shan Liu's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the design's technical specifications, such as the well-designed electrical power distribution system for the wine cooler, ensuring even temperature distribution for various types of wines. The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
