Maquera: Redefining Sustainable Packaging for Homemade Infusions

Inspired by the passion of liquor enthusiasts, Maquera is a unique 50cl infused liquor bottle that encourages reuse and sustainability. The design features writable tape space, sturdy materials, and a connection to the maquis, offering a distinctive and eco-friendly packaging solution for homemade infusions.

After enjoying the original beverage, consumers can repurpose the bottle for their own liquor infusions, thanks to its durable construction and replaceable label. The bottle's asymmetrical design and tactile experience make it stand out on the shelf, while its sustainable materials and local sourcing minimize its carbon footprint.

Maquera is the result of extensive research and iterative development, aiming to meet consumer desires and habits. The project was launched in May 2022 in Occitanie, France, and the final version was achieved in May 2023, following multiple vintages and iterations.
