Merry Coast: A Unique Design Project by Suping Zhuo

Suping Zhuo presents "Merry Coast," a flat design that embodies a broad and significant melody of space. The design, completed in 2019, is located on West Maocheng Road cross North Bailiang Road, Yinzhou District, Ningbo. Inspired by piano melodies, the space features curtain-liked glass windows that introduce natural light, creating a calm and elegant ambiance.

The 280 square meter project stands out with unique features such as a strategically placed round mirror in the dining hall, reflecting pleasant stories from a parallel world. Visitors encounter various decoration units, including unique paintings that brighten the room, creating excellent sceneries. The design process involved preliminary planning, detailed space design, owner confirmation, construction drawings, and material and furniture selection.

Suping Zhuo's design philosophy is evident in "Merry Coast," where the significance of design lies in creation and exploration. The project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its practical and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.

The founder and design director of hange design company, Suping Zhuo, is known for her elegant, sharp, and delicate approach as a woman and a designer.
