Yuki Ijichi's Unique Architectural and Branding Project
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yuki Ijichi's architectural marvel, Chinza No Manma Ao, draws inspiration from the Shinto concept of Chin-za, creating a space where the essence of Japanese culture and the source of life, food, converge. The project, completed in September 2023 and opened in October 2023 in Japan, embodies the essence of Shintoism in a modern architectural masterpiece.
The design, based on the Shinto concept of Shide, seamlessly integrates the sacred and pure elements of Shintoism into the architecture, creating a unique and spiritually significant space. The use of natural materials, such as camellia stone and Kagoshima lava stone, further enhances the connection to Japanese culture and Shintoism.
The project was awarded the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding incorporation of art, science, design, and technology, contributing to the improvement of quality of life.
Yuki Ijichi, operating under Zero Hours Design Studio, is known for his ability to capture the unique characteristics of his clients and their social context, proposing designs that solve their problems while considering cultural context for sustainable value creation.
