Luoyue Resort Hotel: Integrating Local Culture with Modern Design

Gao Hui's Luoyue Resort Hotel, situated on the breathtaking Hailing Island, draws inspiration from the island's idyllic scenery and rich fisherman culture. The hotel aims to become a tourism landmark, enticing visitors to explore the island through its unique design concept.

The hotel lobby features wavy grain imitation wood grain film, resisting the local humid climate and showcasing a warm, delicate effect. The wave-shaped resin transparent lamp emphasizes local culture, offering guests a profound experience.

The project covers 3000 square meters and was completed in May 2021, with a grand opening in June 2021. The design team overcame challenges posed by the island's humid climate, high salinity, and high alkalinity, selecting materials tested for anti-corrosion and durability.

At the heart of the design lies a focus on the guest experience, with careful consideration given to the flow of people during peak check-in periods. The layout successfully resolves congestion issues, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Gao Hui's dedication to interior design, with a focus on simplicity and comfort, has earned him the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for his outstanding work on the Luoyue Resort Hotel.
