Gloria Collection: Innovative and Environmentally Friendly Jewelry

Salomeh Sorouri's Gloria collection redefines the jewelry industry with its innovative use of environmentally friendly materials. The collection draws inspiration from the luminous rings painted by artists around the heads of spiritual figures, incorporating the symbolism of halos into each piece.

What sets the Gloria collection apart is the use of completely natural and unique materials for the stones, ensuring that no chemical colors or substances are used during the crafting process. The main shanks of the rings and the body of the bracelet are meticulously handformed using wire, showcasing the designer's dedication to sustainable and unique crafting methods.

With a bracelet dimension of 9×9 cm and rings sized at 54, the Gloria collection offers users the ability to alternate forms and functions, providing a versatile and unique jewelry experience. The project, which commenced in 2017, culminated in the creation of preliminary prototypes by 2019.

Salomeh Sorouri's design process for the Gloria collection involved extensive research, including information gathering, field studies, and empirical research to ensure the authenticity and sustainability of the materials used. Overcoming various creative and technical challenges, the designer successfully crafted a collection that symbolizes the elevation of the human spirit in a wearable artifact.

Salomeh Sorouri, the founder and director of Atelier and Gallery Sorouri, is a renowned figure in the design industry. As a member of the faculty of the Industrial Design Department at Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, and a recipient of numerous international awards, Sorouri's dedication to innovative and sustainable design is evident in the Gloria collection.
