Form Space Design's Kevin Hsieh Draws Inspiration from Abstract Painter Pierre Soulages for Innovative Office Space Design
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Form Space Design, led by Kevin Hsieh, unveils their latest project "Concavity and Convexity," a groundbreaking office space design located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Inspired by the abstract painter Pierre Soulages, the design explores the changing relationship between black, line, and light, creating a natural rhythm derived from the space's reflection and interplay of colors and spatial textures.
The interior features modern elements interpreting classical style, incorporating galvanized mesh panels as screens and ceilings between staircases. The design utilizes light as a key element, allowing the space to form natural ripples and dance with light and shadow, creating an artistic and stylish appearance through the use of contradictory elements.
Construction of the 1170 square meter, two-story reception center began in February 2021 and was completed in June 2021. The space includes a meeting area, audiovisual room, exhibition area, VIP room, pantry, and lounge, redefining the traditional office environment.
Form Space Design's "Concavity and Convexity" project has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022, highlighting the innovative and practical approach that integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics. The design brings fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
