Form Space Design Introduces Sonus Fortium

Form Space Design proudly presents Sonus Fortium, a captivating apartment designed by Chief Designer Kevin Hsieh and Yunshuang Lin. This retreat in Taoyuan, Taiwan, offers an enveloping comfort, dominated by dim color combinations, unique textures, and a masculine aesthetic.

The 110-square-meter space features three bedrooms, an open study, a living room, a dining room, a dressing room, and three bathrooms. The design relies on the well-known color theme of gray and black, combined with unique textures and playful furniture placements to create a balanced atmosphere.

The interior is presented with long vertical lines and edges, clean and sharp, pleasing to the eye, and creating a resounding balance between comfort and functionality. The project, which began in January 2021 and was completed in May 2021, overcame budget constraints by using diverse wallpaper selections instead of authentic stone materials, opening up numerous possibilities and reducing costs significantly.

The design challenges of the limited space were overcome with an open-style design, minimal blockades, and hidden compartments to maximize space usage. The unbarred design concept extends to the closets, removing door panels while using dark steel frames to maintain a consistent aesthetic and provide visual freedom, easing the occupant's mind.

The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that contribute to a better world. The copyrights for Sonus Fortium belong to Form Space Design, 2022, a design firm that aims to bring beautiful life through design.
