Levitation Photography Series "Flying in Dreams" by Maksim Zinchuk

Maksim Zinchuk's "Flying in Dreams" series, a captivating collection of levitation photography, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022. The series, featuring children in white outfits, captures the purity and brightness of childhood dreams, perfectly complemented by the words of William Shakespeare: "all things that are, are with more spirit chased than enjoyed".

In this series, Zinchuk utilizes the levitation photography technique to create a surreal effect, involving composing multiple shots of a scene to achieve the desired visual impact. The creative process included meticulous planning, location scouting, outfit and prop creation, as well as post-processing to bring the imaginative concept to life.

Working with a dedicated team including photographer assist and clothing designer Nargiza Usmanova, as well as models Rada and Nazar, Zinchuk overcame the challenges of executing levitation photography, ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional results. The "Flying in Dreams" series was created in Ontario, Canada, and has been published on social media and the photographer's personal website.
