Te-Chih Lo introduces the Memory of Light, a high-speed network computing center and the central headquarters of Taiwan's supercomputers. This 383.5 square meter office design is equipped with high technology and intelligence, catering to the needs of users with unmanned interaction. The design is adorned with waste tires symbolizing high-speed and rapid light transmission, complemented by patented circular metal sound-absorbing panels.
The office design integrates scientific and technological concepts, extending light lines and restructuring memories as the core, making it more meaningful. The project, completed in January 2021 in Hsinchu, Taiwan, emphasizes environmental protection and green building materials, complying with Taiwan's certificate of administrative regulations on building decoration.
Te-Chih Lo's Memory of Light was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
