Unique Fusion Restaurant Design Unveiled by Chen Zilong
Renowned designer Chen Zilong introduces "Gin and Chuan," a groundbreaking restaurant project in the heart of Shanghai East Hongqiao. Inspired by the rich heritage of Jingdezhen, this unique establishment seamlessly blends Swiss internationalism design with Jingdezhen ceramic art, creating an international aesthetic expression paradigm.
Covering 2,000 square meters, "Gin and Chuan" boasts 10 exclusive boxes, accommodating up to 200 patrons. The restaurant's design is a testament to the fusion of Sichuan cuisine and whiskey, presenting a high-end taste that reinterprets the world-renowned Jingdezhen ceramic culture.
Custom-made exclusive ceramic handicrafts from Jingdezhen, each hand-made and fired at a high temperature of 1400 degrees, add a unique touch to the restaurant's ambiance. The project, completed in 2022, has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, celebrating its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
