Yi Teng Shih's Hair Salon: A Sustainable Animal Toy for Creative Play

Yi Teng Shih introduces the Hair Salon, a sustainable animal toy designed to cultivate children's hands-on skills and creativity. This unique toy allows children to design different hairstyles for animals, promoting creativity, concentration, and cognitive development.

The Hair Salon is made of plastic through injection molding, with each animal measuring 10cm x 8cm x 5cm. The toy encourages interactive play, as children can create various animal hairstyles using reusable dough, fostering a sustainable and engaging play experience.

Developed from January 2019 to January 2021 in Hong Kong and Ningbo, the Hair Salon addresses the challenge of motivating children to engage with dough by providing four cute animal shapes for them to learn about different animals and develop their craft skills.
