Elif Günes introduces Touch, a revolutionary washbasin design that transcends the traditional concept of functionality. The Touch washbasin is a testament to the bond between two individuals, offering a sculptural visual perception in wet spaces while symbolizing togetherness in every sense. With its prestigious appearance, Touch transforms the mundane sink concept into an aesthetic object, redefining the boundaries of form and function.

Designed to accommodate the use of two adults, the Touch washbasin aims to change the traditional perception of a double-use washbasin with its unique form. It symbolizes the ideas of being together with its sculptural form and design approach, reflecting the passion and desire for touch between couples.

The Touch basin is crafted with Fine Fire Clay (FFC) ceramic and glazed with a non-stick finish, ensuring high performance and durability. Its dimensions, measuring at Length: 1250 mm, Depth: 450 mm, and Height: 150 mm, are optimized for environmentally friendly packaging.

Designed for two people to use together, the Touch washbasin offers a unique bathroom experience, reflecting the passion and desire for touch between couples. Its form is meticulously designed to align with the flow characteristics and behavior of water, creating a sculptural and flowing form where aesthetics meet function. Integrated feet on the backs of the sinks allow for easy placement.

The Touch washbasin project was initiated in May 2021 in Ankara, Turkey, and is a testament to the designer's extensive research in semiotics, modernism, and functionalism. The design aims to express the bond, passion, and togetherness between two individuals, transcending the conventional purpose of a washbasin.
