Hik 9: Redefining Private Dining

Renowned designer Jeffrey Zee unveils Hik 9, a groundbreaking restaurant design in Shanghai, transforming a former bicycle parking garage into a private kitchen for the esteemed Black Pearl restaurant. The innovative space offers a customized private banquet experience for VIP guests, fostering an intimate setting for fine dining and socializing.

The project covers 160 square meters and features bronze and black walnut materials, floodlit lighting, fair-faced concrete walls, and white oak elements, creating a warm, natural ambiance. Notably, the design includes a dry-aged room, open storage area, and professional wine cellar, allowing guests to visually appreciate and select ingredients while enjoying the display of different cooking techniques in the open kitchen.

Commencing in October 2020 and completed in December 2020, Hik 9 embodies the fusion of modern and classic elements, offering a multi-functional dining space that fully expresses the designer's vision and expertise.
