Residential House Design by Xin Ma

Xin Ma, a senior interior designer and co-founder of Touch Design, has unveiled "The Sounds of Nature," a modern residential house in Tianjin, China. The project, awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022, showcases a unique and unconventional living aesthetic space.

This small three-bedroom house covers a total of 82 square meters and underwent delicate remodeling to create a more transparent, bright, and coordinated space. The design features a scientific layout, refined movement, and concise color and line, fulfilling the owner's expectations.

The project, which started in March 2020 and finished in September 2020, integrates ceramic tile, latex paint, and clear water as the main materials. The spacious French windows in the living room bring excellent views and good light, reflecting the marble floor more secluded and quiet. The inwardly recessed TV wall's highly sequential lines add a sense of rhythm to the calm space.

In the dining area, the compact and exquisite setting integrates the dining table with the wall, bringing out a small bar, adding a romantic touch to home life. The black bird decoration on the bar counter echoes the white bird in the living room, reflecting the connection of space.

Xin Ma, with over 12 years of experience in interior design, has successfully transformed the original space layout, creating a design that is complete, comfortable, and full of multiple meanings and functions. The project reflects the brand's dedication to providing integrated design and construction solutions for high-end private houses, commercial, and office spaces in China.
