Touch Design's Xin Ma Transforms Wenzhong Liquor into a Modern Cultural Experience Center

Touch Design's Xin Ma has unveiled the transformation of Wenzhong Liquor into a cutting-edge cultural experience center, blending traditional brewing techniques with modern industrial design. The project, completed in Zunyi, China, offers a unique insight into the Jiang-flavour Chinese spirits and the local brewing culture.

The experience center, spanning 78 meters by 28 meters, integrates the local culture and traditional brewing techniques with modern industry, utilizing materials like cement, steel, and modern rammed earth. The space features a central bar, tasting area, brewing craft hall, and enterprise culture hall, providing visitors with an immersive understanding of the family brewing culture.

Touch Design's Xin Ma overcame the challenge of the original structure's height limitation by introducing a second floor in the core area, creating a seamless blend of industrial sense and modern style. The project, which commenced in March 2020, was completed in October 2020, and has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
