AC Hotel by Marriott's Common Areas

AC Hotel by Marriott in Cracow, designed by Magdalena Federowicz-Boule, has been awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. The project, which started in 2019 in Warsaw and finished in August 2021, is a new concept that combines spaciousness with well-developed functional zones, ensuring the highest level of comfort for guests. The hotel's dynamic, three-dimensional shape stands in contrast to the simple, bright, timeless interiors, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere.

The hotel's interiors, designed in classic American style, feature natural colors of the earth, browns, and beiges, interspersed with delicate golden accents, creating an elegant and cozy ambiance. The project covers 2200 sqm of common areas and 20000 sqm of hotel rooms, including 300 rooms and seating for 600. The design also incorporates specially designed places for beautiful, "natural" tree sculptures, integrating art and greenery seamlessly into the interior.

Magdalena Federowicz-Boule and her team, including Katarzyna Wawryniuk, Klaudyna Czechowska, and Aleksander Dymkowski, overcame creative and technical challenges to create a multifunctional facility that seamlessly blends luxury and simplicity. The hotel's location in Krakow's Blonia Park, surrounded by nature, inspired the use of natural materials and greenery throughout the interior, providing guests with a sense of comfort and unpretentious luxury.
