Renowned designer Ching Feng Chang has unveiled "Leisurely Vacation," a stunning 182 square meters residence in Taipei, completed in 2021. The project, awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023, showcases a blend of art, innovation, and tradition, redefining luxury living.

Inspired by the owner's preference for a simple and luxurious style, the residence underwent a 10-month renovation, featuring white as the primary color complemented by dark soft decorations and ornaments. The open public space offers a presidential suite-like ambiance, with expansive mountain views, providing a tranquil retreat in the heart of Taipei.

The unique design features open spaces and strategic bed placements, allowing the homeowners to enjoy the picturesque views from every corner of the residence. The use of imported Italian thin brick, titanium plating metal, and yellow colored glass adds a touch of understated luxury, creating a serene and comfortable atmosphere.

Chang's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the design, with a central island kitchen seamlessly integrated into the living room, offering both functionality and unobstructed views. The guest room features a concealed bed design, maximizing space for occasional visitors while serving as a recreational area for the homeowners.

Chang's innovative approach overcame various challenges, including reconfiguring the layout to optimize the open public space and strategically placing the bed in the master bedroom to capture the scenic outdoor vistas without compromising on comfort and functionality.
