Whiteland: A Luxurious Residential Design

BEZALEL proudly presents Whiteland, a stunning residential project meticulously crafted by Ching Feng Chang. This 224 square meters space in Taipei City, Taiwan, showcases a unique blend of art, innovation, and tradition, redefining luxury living.

Chang's inspiration for Whiteland stems from the concept of quality goods permeating the entire room design, creating distinct atmospheres in the public and private areas. The design features a light color rendered hierarchical space, with deliberate use of deep color levels in various materials to create multiple textures.

The design realization technology incorporates wallpaper, stone, metal, and light belt to enhance texture, while the master bedroom continues the design vocabulary of the public area, utilizing titanium-plated metal frame and glass material to elevate the boutique sense.

Whiteland's design challenges were overcome by transforming the original four-room layout into a more functional space, opening up the public area and ensuring a broad vision through the house. The project, which commenced in October 2021, was completed in July 2022.

Chang's design philosophy emphasizes the need for comfortable living scale and increased interaction between functional areas. The space features smooth moving lines, flexible open entrances and exits, and a bar without corners, promoting seamless connectivity and privacy when needed.

Chang's design for Whiteland was honored with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative attributes that meet professional and industrial requirements.
