Kanyon: Coffee Table Collection

Fulden Topaloglu presents Kanyon, a coffee table collection inspired by the awe-inspiring beauty of canyons. The design aims to translate the poetic and sculptural characteristics of canyons into a minimal and unique design language, offering both functionality and a strong visual impact. The U profiled gap between different table surfaces serves as a convenient and aesthetic space to store books & magazines, while customization options in shapes, veneers, colors, and dimensions allow for a unique expression that blends with different interiors.

Kanyon is produced by skilled wood and marble craftsmen, combining solid wood, marble, and high-quality wood veneers. The collection offers standard dimensions for both round and oval versions, with customization options available. The 2-level tabletop design allows for easy arrangement of objects based on use, access, or aesthetic appeal, making it highly adjustable to the requirements of different spaces.

Fulden Topaloglu, an engineer turned designer, established her design studio, Studio Kali, in 2018. Her work focuses on products at the intersection of craft production and modern design, aiming to support craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and local industry. The Kanyon collection has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2022, acknowledging its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that blends functionality with sculptural elegance.
