Evolution Design's Website Revamp

Evolution Design, a Swiss architecture and design studio, has unveiled its revamped website in collaboration with web agency Netgen. The new website, launched in October 2022, reflects Evolution Design's ethos through a clean, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing interface.

The re-launched website highlights the studio's wide range of projects and skills, embodying Evolution Design's values and design approach. It features prominent project displays, showcasing the studio's commitment to human-centred design and its team. The site's aesthetic appeal lies in its clean, dynamic, and user-friendly design, achieved through the use of white space and image galleries resembling mood boards.

The website, designed using Figma and developed with Ibexa CMS, Netgen layouts, and Bootstrap, is fully responsive and compatible with various devices and browsers. The design and development teams worked in Zurich, Switzerland, and Zagreb, Croatia, to bring this project to life.

The revamp of Evolution Design's website began in February 2021, with a focus on creating a digital identity that conveys the studio's values and addresses its target audience. The design team conducted workshops to define goals, vision, and key messages, customizing the website's structure, aesthetic, and user experience design to appeal to potential clients, existing clients, the general audience, and the media.

The biggest challenge in the design and development process was to maintain the site's signature design touch while achieving a light and effortless appearance. The implementation of image collages resembling architectural mood boards presented a technical challenge, requiring the setup of 11 image modules in addition to regular large-scale images and photo galleries.

Evolution Design's new website not only showcases their projects and skills but also conveys a human-centred design approach by highlighting the studio's team and clients. The site's structure ensures easy navigation, while colorful accents and call-to-action buttons add an element of surprise, reflecting the studio's dynamic and collaborative nature.
