Wyndham Grand Plaza, designed by He Wang and Hancui Lu of Unity Design Atelier, is a breathtaking coastal resort located in Shuangyue Bay, Huizhou, China. The hotel's design draws inspiration from the natural landscape of the bay, featuring two crescent-moon-like beaches and stunning sea views. The simple yet striking form of the hotel stands in contrast to the organic growth pattern of the nearby fishing village, making it an iconic presence in the area.

The hotel offers a plethora of activities, including infinity pools, spas, restaurants, and entertainment options, ensuring an unforgettable experience for visitors. The layout of the guestroom towers provides unobstructed views of the ocean, with long balconies and jacuzzis in most spaces, creating a truly special experience for guests.

One of the key design features is the circulation axis that flows from the main site entrance into a pedestrian plaza, leading all the way to the beach. The hotel's multi-level spatial sequence from public to private spaces strikes a perfect balance between public and private interests, offering a welcoming environment for all guests.

Throughout the design process, the architects overcame challenges related to integrating the high-density luxury resort into the surrounding environment, maximizing the value of the hotel, and ensuring that all guest rooms and communal facilities provide breathtaking ocean views.
