Dragon Boat Festival Packaging: A Fusion of Tradition and Modernity

ShenZhen XiShang Boutique Packing Co., Ltd has unveiled a remarkable Dragon Boat Festival-themed gift box, inspired by the ancient Chinese Dragon Boat Sacrificial Ceremony. The outer box features a dragon motif, with mugwort and reed leaves intricately incorporated into the design, while the inner box showcases two dragons holding Zongzi, symbolizing double luck in Chinese culture.

The packaging, made using eco-friendly paper and 3D paper carving techniques, aims to convey blessings and good fortune, especially in the context of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Measuring 475mm X 213mm X 130mm, the design was brought to life by a talented team led by Creative Director Peng Chen and designers Chengpeng Zhu, Xiao Xiao, Lei Wang, and Yunfeng Hu.

With an interactive unfolding mechanism, the gift box presents multi-layered three-dimensional patterns and layered cardboard, depicting totems, festival rituals, and Dragon Boat scenes, effectively capturing the essence of the traditional festival.
