Discover the fusion of classic Art Deco and modernist expression in this fashionable men's home
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mu Yuan's "Parallel Universe" is a 905 square meter residential house project that redefines modern living. Inspired by the classic Art Deco style of "The Great Gatsby" and the modernist expression of "50 Shades of Gray," this design embodies a unique blend of timeless elegance and contemporary sophistication. The space features geometric wheat ear elements, complemented by marble and copper metal materials, and a color palette of black, gold, gray, and white, creating a visually stunning and aristocratic atmosphere.
The project, located in Huzhou, China, was completed in December 2019 and has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding expertise and innovation.
One of the unique features of "Parallel Universe" is the integration of two hidden bedrooms on the first floor, allowing for multi-generational interaction without interference. The design concept revolves around the idea of "parallel" space, where love and reason build family relationships in a harmonious and integrated environment.
Challenges in the design process were overcome with creative solutions, such as the use of metal wheat ear decoration elements and customized decorative paintings to capture the essence of the design intention. The space reflects the male host's spiritual ideas, symbolizing the concept of family inheritance spirit.
Mu Yuan, the design director of Hangzhou Cansun Decoration Co., Ltd., is a national registered senior interior architect with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. His exceptional work has earned him recognition and numerous awards both domestically and internationally.
