Mu Yuan Unveils Air Box, a Unique Residential House Design

Mu Yuan, a renowned interior architect, has unveiled the stunning residential house design, Air Box. The project, covering a total of 275 square meters, was initiated in July 2018 and completed in September 2019 in Hangzhou, China. Inspired by the serene surroundings of Hangzhou West Lake, the design reflects a minimalist and pure aesthetic, offering a unique indoor "outside" space within the living room.

The design features a special architectural form that divides the entire space into two parts, creating an unexpected surprise for the homeowners. The use of structuralism and restrained lighting arrangement adds a ritual feeling to the space, while the low-key and highly tensile texture of the marble ground extends a sense of warmth and sophistication throughout the house.

Recognized for its outstanding expertise and innovation, Air Box was honored with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing Mu Yuan's exceptional design prowess and creative vision.
