Rong Art Gallery: A Fusion of History and Modern Aesthetics

Rong Art Gallery, a project by Song Han, is a unique art gallery experience that integrates spatial behavioral aesthetic interest into a blend of history and modern way of life. The damaged wooden components were repaired and cleaned by hand to maintain the mottled texture of logs, creating a space that evolves with the rhythm of seasons, light, and weather.

The gallery is divided into two parts: the main building and the auxiliary building, offering a spatial experience that peels off the impetuosity brought by the outside world and returns visitors to a state of calm. The design integrates the interweaving of the future and history, creating a space that accumulates history and embodies the modern way of life.

The project, which started in December 2019 and finished in April 2020, is a winner of the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
