Rippling: A Unique Club Design
Shenzhen Horizon Space Design Co., Ltd, led by Song Han, has unveiled "Rippling," a unique club design that seamlessly blends material and spiritual well-being. The design, inspired by bionics, features 1800 tailor-made translucent glazed tiles, sunken ripple-shaped sofas, and an installation artwork titled "Flowing of Time." The 360ã¡ space was completed in Shenzhen in October 2018 and exhibited in November 2018.
The design incorporates oriental intelligence and architectural garden elements, offering a lightweight and luxury style in a modern city setting. Visitors are treated to an immersive experience where the spatial-temporal aesthetics of oriental gardening are infused into the indoor space, providing different dimensions of space and a delightful atmosphere.
One of the main challenges overcome in the design was the creation of an arched corridor made up of 1800 tailor-made translucent glazed tiles, which vibrate rhythmically as visitors pass through. The design also features an installation artwork titled "Flowing of Time," symbolizing the world's uncertainty.
