Emperor: The First of the Imperial Furniture Series

Tiger ChongSheng Guo introduces Emperor, the inaugural piece of the Imperial Furniture Series, blending traditional Chinese design with contemporary influences. Crafted using sustainable Jarrah and brass, Emperor is a testament to the novel Neo-Sino design methodology, aiming to reintegrate authentic Chinese design into modern high design.

Emperor, CNC routed and milled, stands at 861mm x 994mm x 672mm, showcasing intricate laser-etched details. This unique table embodies the essence of luxury, Chinese heritage, and the mythical dragon, reflecting the designer's cultural diversity and passion for additive manufacturing.

Starting in August 2018 in Wellington and concluding in December 2020 in Auckland, Emperor made its debut at RNDR 2020 in November 2020, captivating audiences with its fusion of tradition and innovation. This award-winning design received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and industry best practices.
