Lu Zhao's Silent design, aimed at improving the lives of people with disabilities, was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding innovation and creativity.

Lu Zhao's Silent design is a revolutionary approach to sign language communication, offering a human-computer interaction system that allows users to communicate simply through a manipulator. This innovative approach aims to make the daily lives of people with disabilities more convenient and help them better integrate into society.
The design, realized using acrylic and 3D printing, reflects the designer's perspective of humanistic care, respecting the differences of each individual and understanding and respecting the disabled more. The project was completed in China in June 2018, with Lu Zhao leading a team including Chao Zhang, Xianghua Yin, Guanyi Yan, and Chong Yao.
Lu Zhao's Silent design was honored with the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. This award-winning design illustrates strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
