Ikona Maxxi Pure: A Unique Fusion of Hood and Air Purifier

Elica, under the leadership of Fabrizio Crisà, has introduced Ikona Maxxi Pure, a groundbreaking extraction hood and purifier designed to revolutionize the air quality in modern living spaces. This innovative creation is a result of the growing need for harmonious and elegant furnishings, pleasant lighting, and most importantly, purified air in our daily living environments.

The Ikona Maxxi Pure is a fusion of a hood and air purifier, meticulously designed to operate independently without compromising performance or usability. It efficiently eliminates cooking fumes and vapors, ensuring a clean and fresh atmosphere in the kitchen and living area.

Constructed with stainless steel and ABS, the Ikona Maxxi Pure measures 1198 mm x 440 mm x 1210 mm, offering a sleek and elegant addition to any modern home.

Ikona Maxxi Pure has been meticulously engineered to improve the quality of domestic air without the need for additional devices or complex monitoring systems. Equipped with a Combo Pure Filter, a special combination of Hepa and charcoal filters, it captures particles up to 1 micron, relieving allergic symptoms and discomfort caused by indoor pollutants.

One of the most remarkable features of Ikona Maxxi Pure is its whisper-quiet operation. In Super Silent mode, it operates at just 37 dBA, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed environment, akin to the silence of a library.

Ikona Maxxi Pure offers a range of installation options, including duct out or filtering mode, hanging or wall-mounted, with or without a chimney, and with left or right-sided positioning, providing flexibility to suit various kitchen layouts.

The intuitive and user-friendly touch control operates both the hood and purifier. Additionally, the smart alert feature notifies users when the filters need replacement, ensuring hassle-free maintenance.

The project commenced in September 2020 in Fabriano and concluded in April 2021, with an exhibition at Area 30 in September 2021, showcasing the innovative capabilities of Ikona Maxxi Pure.

Fabrizio Crisà, the Design Center Director at Elica, has been instrumental in leading the design team and driving the innovation process of the products. His passion for beauty and technological innovation has resulted in numerous award-winning designs, including the Platinum A' Design Award for Ikona Maxxi Pure in 2022.
