Lhov: Redefining Kitchen Appliances

Fabrizio Crisà introduces Lhov, a revolutionary all-in-one kitchen appliance that combines a hob, hood, and oven in a single unit. This innovative product, which will be launched in May 2024, redefines the cooking experience and optimizes space in modern homes.

Lhov is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern households, where the kitchen has become a multifunctional space for food preparation, work, and social gatherings. With its intelligent, efficient, and functional solutions, Lhov reflects the fusion of style, functionality, and technology, offering a seamless cooking experience.

Measuring 900mm x 565mm x 360mm, Lhov boasts a powerful extraction system that removes vapors and odors from both the cooking surface and the oven. Its wide oven space provides a larger cooking area on one level, offering more even cooking without the need for multiple shelves. Additionally, the induction hob features 5 cooking zones and two lateral suction zones, enhancing its versatility.

Lhov's development began in 2019 at Elica – Fabriano, with the first prototype created in 2020 and exhibited at Salone del Mobile in June 2022. The design process involved extensive research to address consumer needs, resulting in a product that prioritizes intuitive interaction, energy efficiency, and space optimization.

With its seamless integration and ergonomic design, Lhov represents a new category of household appliances, embodying the love and passion that went into combining essential kitchen elements into a single, never-before-seen product. This innovative appliance challenges the limits of time and space, making it a must-have for any modern home.

Fabrizio Crisà, the Design Center Director at Elica, has been instrumental in leading the design team and driving innovation in the products. His unique and distinctive objects have been recognized with numerous design awards, including the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2024 for Lhov, which celebrates exceptional and highly innovative designs.
