Greenery Bench: A Tranquil Oasis in Furniture Form

Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd introduces the Greenery Bench, a fusion of nature and furniture inspired by Eastern tea culture. The bench is designed to integrate with different plants, creating a tranquil oasis in both residential and public spaces. With a minimal silhouette and a metal planter, the bench embodies contemporary characteristics while evoking the scenic atmosphere of ancient Chinese architecture.

The Greenery Bench is crafted using environment-friendly wood boards and wood veneer, with a stainless steel planter and leather seat cushions. Its dimensions of 1600mm width, 440mm depth, and 430mm height make it an ideal addition to any space, offering a unique blend of relaxation and well-being.

Designed by Shibing Yang, the Greenery Bench serves as a seating area with extra space for item placement and is designed for 2-3 persons. Users can customize the bench by switching the types of plants in the metal planter, catering to their personal preferences.

The project commenced in Shenzhen in April 2022 and was completed in June 2022. The design team overcame challenges to create a seamless integration of furniture and plants, drawing inspiration from the calming and natural elements of Eastern tea culture. The Greenery Bench aims to provide a physical and spiritual space for individuals to relax and enjoy their surroundings.

Ren Yu, an emerging furniture designer from Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd, expresses a passion for creating designs that enhance the quality of life and foster a deeper connection with nature. The Greenery Bench has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, acknowledging its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to improving the quality of life.
