Uno Chan, the renowned interior designer, has unveiled his latest project, the groundbreaking flagship store for Shenzhen Heytea Lab. The design, a fusion of modern aesthetics and innovative technology, aims to redefine the consumer experience within the 1300 square meter space. The store, completed in September 2019, is strategically located in Shenzhen OCT Harbor, reflecting the brand's commitment to cutting-edge design and customer engagement.

Chan's design integrates cutting-edge technology with the brand's market positioning and business strategies, creating a space that transcends traditional retail environments. The store features five distinct laboratories, each dedicated to a unique aspect of the Heytea experience, including the peripheral lab, ice-making lab, dessert lab, illustration lab, and the tea geek lab. The geometric staircase serves as both a functional element and a visual centerpiece, guiding customers through the immersive space.

The design's realization technology is a testament to Chan's innovative approach. Strip lights and light films are seamlessly integrated into the ceiling and metal grilles, enhancing the space's elegance. Aluminum foam sheets and delicate satin brushed metal create a juxtaposition that adds depth and character to the interior. The Tea Geek Lab's ceiling, designed with blocks of different textures, features a moon-shaped art decoration, complemented by an LED screen, creating a mesmerizing visual experience.

Uno Chan's design for Heytea Lab Shenzhen OCT Harbor represents a paradigm shift in retail space design, blending art, technology, and consumer engagement to create a truly immersive environment. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2020, reaffirming Uno Chan's status as an industry leader in interior design.
