Fangfang: Redefining High-End Dining and Cocktail Bar Fusion

Yijie Chen, the design director of Nayun Design, has unveiled Fangfang, a groundbreaking restaurant and bar fusion project that seamlessly blends the elegance of French fine dining with the vibrant atmosphere of a modern cocktail bar. Located in Suzhou, this innovative space challenges traditional dining norms, offering a mysterious and modern ambiance that captivates visitors from the moment they step through the dark purple curtain at the entrance.

Fangfang's unique design features a bold and capricious approach, redefining high-end dining and seamlessly connecting the French dinner restaurant with a cool cocktail bar. The space exudes a luxurious and textured atmosphere, reminiscent of the Lido dance hall, where seemingly contradictory elements harmoniously collide, creating a sublimely integrated experience.

Spanning 521 square meters, Fangfang's layout immerses patrons in a world of delicious food and entertainment. The design draws inspiration from L'Atelier de Joel Rubuchon, incorporating high saturation colors and artful decorations to create a dynamic and visually stunning environment. The fusion of French elements, elegance, and modern science results in a space that is both culturally rich and contemporary.

Yijie Chen's innovative approach to restaurant and bar design has earned Fangfang the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding creativity and ingenious fusion of fine dining and bar culture. With this project, Chen continues to push the boundaries of interior design, creating spaces that elevate the dining and social experience.
