The process involves recording or uploading an audio message, which is then transformed into a 3D soundwave through an online algorithm. Founded in Athens, Greece, the Otowav project commenced in February 2018 and concluded in March 2021. The concept was born from the desire to share memories through the human voice, offering a unique alternative to traditional forms of expression. The transition from soundwave form to a three-dimensional object posed creative and technical challenges, ultimately leading to the development of a sophisticated algorithm and production process.
