Encounter Montmartre by Stephy Teng

Stephy Teng introduces Encounter Montmartre, a residential design inspired by the artistic vibe of the Montmartre Plateau in Paris. The space reflects the essence of European art forms through carefully selected colors, materials, and furnishings, offering users an environment akin to living in an art piece with functional designs. The project commenced in March 2021 and was completed in August 2021 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Under the concept of French Montmartre, Encounter Montmartre features stable wooden tones, rounded wooden cabinets, and high functionality through shelves, display cabinets, and wooden gratings. The space is strategically designed to harmonize with the surrounding natural landscapes, creating a perfect balance between space and nature. The 63-ping space includes three bedrooms, two living rooms, and three bathrooms, all exuding a modern, minimalist style with a stable ecological tonal.

The design incorporates floor heating equipment, imported kitchenware, carpets, special paints, wooden elements, French windows, grating, leather furnishings, marbles, modeling lightings, wall lamps, and system cabinets. It utilizes an open-end method to integrate the living room with the dining room and kitchen, allowing users to enjoy natural light throughout the space. The project overcame challenges related to the initial flooring's stability and height differences to achieve a consistent spatial design.
