Art One: Redefining Residential Exhibition Areas

Art One, a groundbreaking residential exhibition area designed by Hu Sun, redefines the concept of living spaces by seamlessly integrating nature and fashion. Inspired by the fusion of fashion and nature showcased in Jacquemus S/S 2021 and Jason Wu S/S 2021 fashion shows, Art One introduces varied terrain, surrounding natural resources, and a microclimate with a group of trees to create a truly unique environment.

The project, covering a landscape design area of 6700㎡, features an art gallery that connects spaces and integrates fashionable hollow-carved elements and color blocks, enhancing the artistic sense of the site. Additionally, four functional boxes are strategically placed around a green environment, offering a wonderful experience space that is both integrated and aligned with the project's theme.

Two strategies and four scenes are applied in the design to better highlight the theme. The integration of nature and fashion and an immersive art experience are the core principles behind Art One. Each scene, from the pure boundary to the infiltration art, provides an exclusive experience for visitors, adding depth and meaning to the overall design.

Despite facing challenges in intervening art and fashion into the project, Hu Sun and the design team found inspiration in the symbiotic relationship between the original natural style and fashion art. This led to the successful realization of Art One, offering a living space that resonates with the most unique fashion - the connection with nature.

Art One was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Landscape Planning and Garden Design category in 2022, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. The project stands as a testament to Hu Sun's vision of creating a poetic living community that integrates nature and cultural values, leaving a lasting impact on contemporary urban life.
