Yi-Yun Chang's "Corner of Tranquility"

The "Corner of Tranquility" project, designed by Yi-Yun Chang, redefines residential living with a modern Yuppie style interpretation, utilizing materials such as grey glass, aluminum pieces, and iron pieces to create a cozy and harmonious space. The design aims to foster a sense of vitality and happiness, allowing residents to interact with the space and infuse it with wonderful memories.

Spanning 73 square meters, this residential apartment maximizes space utilization through meticulous layout planning, partitioning the study area with glass and integrating wires into the woodwork design to eliminate visual blockages. The innovative use of glass materials accentuates extraordinary visual effects, showcasing the ingenuity of the design techniques.

The project's unique features include the relocation of the scene axis to a storage room, alteration of the master bedroom door direction to create additional storage space, and the design of a large sliding door with an oil painting to act as a decorative element while allowing natural light to illuminate the space.

Yi-Yun Chang's "Corner of Tranquility" was honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements. This prestigious accolade highlights the project's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
