Wen Cheng Fu's Iox design project, a residential apartment located in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, is a unique and innovative integration of office and residence, offering individual privacy and exclusive family spaces.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Iox project by Wen Cheng Fu is a 5-floor residential apartment integrating an office and exclusive family areas. The design features a cold grey color palette, fair-faced concretes, and leathers, creating an elegant and composed atmosphere. The study room for the eldest son was specifically remodeled from the balcony area, addressing previous water leak issues.
The project's unique properties lie in its seamless integration of office and residence, ensuring individual privacy. The 2nd floor houses the office and public residence area, while the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors are exclusive family spaces.
Realization of the design involved incorporating the elements I, O, and X, symbolizing the house owner's preferences, rewards of hard work, and the children's favorite movie, X-Men. The property spans 270 square meters and was completed on April 1st, 2017.
The office design on the 2nd floor combines contemporary minimalism and wooden textures, creating a charismatic space. The house features clear glass windows, window shades for ample daylight, and efficient built-in wall wood closets. The wood meeting table doubles as a dining table, complemented by stylish circular ceiling lamps.
The eldest son's room, inspired by the movie X-Men, features rotating TV and delicate fair-concrete walls. The youngest son's room is adorned with skateboards, reflecting his passion for the sport.
Wen Cheng Fu's Iox design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach to interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
