Biophilic Design Redefining Social Housing in Punta del Este

Designed by architect Natalia Ottonello and her team at Studio Guevara Ottonello Architects, Otto Uno is a groundbreaking residential building project that redefines social housing in Punta del Este, Uruguay. The project, inspired by the concept of biophilia, aims to create a sustainable and affordable living space that enhances the connection between residents and nature.

Otto Uno is a contemporary architectural design featuring 36 social housing units, with a focus on functionality, sustainability, and affordability. The building's architecture is characterized by the prominent use of glass, black aluminum, and wood, emphasizing the connection with nature and the surrounding environment.

Featuring a rooftop terrace with a variety of amenities, including a swimming pool, recreation lounge area, fitness center, and vegetable gardens, Otto Uno encourages residents to engage with nature and socialize within the community. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2022, setting a new standard for sustainable social housing in the region.
