Guevara Ottonello Architects Unveils Don Majestic Hotel

Designed to transcend architecture, Don Majestic is a 19-floor, 54m tall hotel that stands out as an iconic, innovative, and elegant architectural masterpiece in Punta del Este. The hotel features 48 standard rooms, 4 luxury suites, and a range of amenities including outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools, a fitness center, a spa, a conference room, a restaurant, and a cafeteria.

The hotel's unique sculptural shape, inspired by nature's curves, was realized through innovative engineering structures and a curved glazing facade, offering uninterrupted incredible views. The design team, led by Natalia Ottonello and Ian Guevara, aimed to create a strong harmony between two curved architectural volumes, complementing each other to achieve a balance in aesthetics and form.

Don Majestic Hotel, a recipient of the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, is a testament to the studio's commitment to excellence, innovation, and uniqueness in architectural design. Natalia Ottonello, co-founder and lead designer of Guevara Ottonello Architects, continues to push the boundaries of architectural design, creating spaces that aim to innovate and transcend while honoring the art of space.
