Residence Design "From Point to Plane" by Shih-Kai Chen

Shih-Kai Chen's "From Point to Plane" project is a stunning example of interior design, blending gray and white tones with wood accents to create a functional and neat living space. The design incorporates natural and outdoor sports elements to reflect the homeowner's preferences, with the porch featuring imitation water paint to emphasize natural texture.

The space is divided by a main beam, utilizing L-frame wood, aluminum strip lights, iron laminates, and mirrors to create a three-dimensional open display cabinet, effectively separating the leisure area from the dining and kitchen space. The project's unique use of color, light wood, and bright orange embellishments inject vitality and create a richer atmosphere.

Chen's design also addresses practicality and functionality, with the configuration of L-shaped kitchen utensils opening up the kitchen space and the dining table serving a dual-function design, making the smaller residence more spacious and practical. The study room and living room are thoughtfully designed to complement each other, with high-footed desks and a reading area that maximizes natural light.
