Shih-Kai Chen's Piano Bar Design: "Cat Walk"

Shih-Kai Chen's "Cat Walk" piano bar design is a commercial space that skillfully combines open and independent features, overcoming challenges of space planning and location. The curved hallway bypasses the restroom, with an upside-down wine glass imagery embellished on the wall. The design's unique properties are evident in its location on a triangular spot, presenting great challenges in entrance design and space utilization.

The soundproofing materials, including thick blue velvet curtains and red velvet curtains, create an enjoyable environment for music appreciation. The property spans 171.9 square meters and finished in July 2019 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

The design won the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognized for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements. The design integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
