YU FEN LEE's Innovative Residential Design

YU FEN LEE presents a grand interior design project, harmoniously infusing a gentleman's extensive collection of contemporary Taiwanese artwork into a serene living space. Completed in February 2019 in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, this project showcases a unique fusion of art and living, creating a space that transcends the ordinary and uplifts the soul.

The client's passion for art and cultural taste is evident in the specially designed display areas that articulate the visual, texture, and artistic semantics of the ceramic artwork, adding an elegant soul to the interior spatiality. The design team meticulously integrated the collections into the interior, creating a space that complements the bold nature of the artwork, while uplifting the spirits of the beholders.

With a focus on preserving the artwork, the design team incorporated museum-grade lighting and innovative Hunter Douglas curtains to shield the collection from harmful rays and heat, while providing effective insulation for all seasons. The design also features smart diffused lighting with adjustable area of control application, ensuring the preservation and aesthetic enhancement of the artwork.

Despite the challenges of a tight timeframe, the design team successfully streamlined the construction process, effectively managing communication with the client to ensure their satisfaction. The result is a residence that not only shelters but also articulates the taste, passion, and life value of the inhabitants, intertwining art and space to enrich the interaction between art and people.
