Twilight Forest: Redefining Modern Living

YU FEN LEE's Twilight Forest redefines modern living with its integration of natural elements and green building materials. The design team's inspiration stemmed from the clients' personalities, daily life, and the urban location, aiming to provide a serene environment amidst the bustling city.

The 82.644 square meter space features 3 bedrooms, 2 public areas, and a study room, all designed with a simple modern style using warm wood materials, clear glass, and environmentally friendly green building materials. The open public area and study room with clear glass partitions allow for excellent ventilation and natural lighting, seamlessly integrating the beauty of the surrounding maple forest into everyday life.

The project, completed in August 2019, faced challenges typical of renovating an over 20-year-old house. However, the design team overcame these obstacles by creatively incorporating the natural elements outside the window into the home environment, achieving an echoing connection effect between indoor and outdoor spaces.
