Maxi Hall: Blending Modern Maximalism with Functionality

B5 Design introduces Maxi Hall, a modern villa hallway that embodies the essence of modern maximalism. The space, spanning 7m in width, 19m in depth, and 12m in height, features a blend of materials including wood, mirrors, and marbles, creating a cheerful and luxurious interior. The walls showcase a mix of wooden veneer finished cladding, back-painted glass mirrors with geometrical patterns, and gold stripes, while the flooring boasts a stunning geometrical design using Nero Marquina, Pietra Grey, and Calacatta marble. The project, which commenced in February 2020, presented various challenges, including achieving a simple yet elegant look while incorporating air conditioning systems seamlessly into the design.

The design process involved extensive research into modern maximalism, aiming to recreate interior design in a unique way, using bold materials and shapes. The project team, including Ahmed Farghaly, Ayman Abdelkhalek, and Hadir Salah, overcame technical and creative challenges to bring the vision to life. The design was realized through meticulous planning, including AutoCAD sketches, mood boards created with Adobe Photoshop, and 3D modeling using Autodesk 3D Max. The result is a space that seamlessly blends different materials and layers to achieve a modern maximalism look, offering both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
