Timeless Atrium Design

B5 Design introduces the Royal Palace, an atrium design inspired by the elegance and comfort of 17th and 18th-century European decor. The space, spanning 16m in width, 14m in length, and 12m in height, features G.R.G coated walls with classic decorative molding, luxury water jet marble flooring, and a 12mm thick suspended KNAUF gypsum board ceiling. The design is a fusion of past and present, drawing inspiration from iconic palaces such as the Elysee Palace in France and Palazzo Madama in Italy.

The design process involved extensive research and meticulous planning, with the team utilizing AutoCAD for initial sketches and transitioning to 3D modeling using Autodesk 3ds Max. The use of Adobe Photoshop facilitated the creation of mood boards, guiding the selection of colors, materials, lighting, and furniture to achieve a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary elements.

Despite encountering challenges related to space ventilation and window design, the team successfully integrated classical architectural motifs and decorative elements to overcome these obstacles, resulting in a seamless and functional design.
