Tsubasa.Y Vintage Selection Shop: Brand Integration

Siwei Lai's Tsubasa.Y Vintage Selection Shop has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for its outstanding brand integration design. The design concept draws inspiration from the brand name "TSUBASA" (Japanese for wings) and incorporates the letter Y, forming a shape resembling a bird with outstretched wings. The use of simple lines creates a sense of refinement and quality, reflecting the shop's unique and tasteful selections from around the world.

The vintage selection shop's identification, packaging, and print design are encapsulated in the TSUBASA.Y brand. Notably, the outer packaging stickers are designed to allow shop assistants to customize and interact with consumers. The blank space on the sticker allows the clerks to draw and leave personalized messages, providing a sense of honor and uniqueness to every consumer. Additionally, digital printing in the blank space is updated annually to reflect the brand's establishment years.

The project commenced in March 2021 and concluded in June 2021 in Taichung City, Taiwan. Siwei Lai's Tsubasa.Y Vintage Selection Shop is a testament to the fusion of different eras and the pursuit of exclusive tastes, creating a fashion narrative that resonates with the current generation. The design has been awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category, showcasing exceptional expertise, innovation, and artistic skill.
