The Osmanthus Grace: A Blend of Urban Sophistication and Natural Beauty

GTD, the architectural planning and design company controlled by Greentown China, presents The Osmanthus Grace, a new sales center in Shijiazhuang. Inspired by the serene beauty of Jiangnan, the project aims to enhance the urban landscape with a touch of natural elegance. Situated in the core of CLD in Shijiazhuang, the project seamlessly integrates with the city's high-end resources and the adjacent sports park, creating a harmonious blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty.

The Osmanthus Grace boasts a unique design that emphasizes the connection with nature. The southern block, comprised of solid stone and all-glass transparent structures, creates a striking visual contrast on the main facade. The upper part of the glass block features a fine metal grid, producing transparent and translucent visual effects. In contrast, the 2-story block on the north is predominantly made of glass, ensuring a visual differentiation while maintaining elemental continuity with the southern block.

Spanning an area of 1983 sqm, The Osmanthus Grace will initially function as the sales center for Greentown's residence, later transforming into a public service facility. The project's design team, led by Chief Designer Zhang Muque, aimed to create a flexible and transparent architectural image that embodies a light, clean, and pure temperament, achieved through the use of lightweight materials and meticulous construction techniques.

The Osmanthus Grace is strategically located on the east of social welfare land, with its south and east sides facing the street to welcome traffic flow. The project features landscaped and interior courtyards, designed to lead visitors through interconnected spaces. The design team's meticulous research and innovative approach led to the selection of a layout that encircles internal and external courtyards, offering a seamless and integrated landscape space.

Recognized for its exceptional design, The Osmanthus Grace was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade celebrates the project's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in architectural design.
